Deadly Illusions” is the name of the debut movie made by Kiss and Tale Productions: the Hollywood Production company owned by me and my partner Anna Elizabeth James. She is the brains and talent in the company as she writes the scripts, directs and produces the movie.

The actors in this movie are: Kristin Davis, Greer Grammer, Dermot Mulroney and Shanola Hampton.

  1. I had the pleasure to experience this movie while on a weekend visit to Casa Bien. I wouldn’t be able to do justice to the depth and intrigue of the storyline in words. I know because I’ve attempted to gush about to to just about every person I’ve encountered since I saw it. This journey weaves through consciousness and subconsciousness, leaving your mind desperately grasping for more. I can’t recommend this emotionally gripping and intellectual adventure enough!

  2. Me and my mother had the pleasure of watching Deadly Illusions early in Tim’s at-home theater and WOW… as I write I’m not sure where to start because we both loved and enjoyed so much of the thriller..

The storyline had me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film and even the ending, which I won’t spoil, left me hungry to see more!

As a photographer, the videography blew me away and every scene looked like there was much thought put into it..

I’m grateful we both got to see this film and even afterwards, I found myself guessing what a sequel might bring…

  3. What a roller coaster of suspense! Just when the storyline seemed predictable, it went in a whole other direction. The cast, especially Kristin Davis, was exceptional. I loved her in Sex in the City and her character Mary is the polar opposite of Charlotte which I thoroughly enjoyed seeing that side of her. But what about that final scene? Psychological thriller for sure!

  4. WOWZER. Deadly Illusions has been put together so meticulously and beautifully, this is more than a movie- it is a masterpiece. I’ve watched Deadly Illusions about four times now. The first time I watched it I caught myself holding my breath and frozen throughout the movie it was so suspenseful. Each time it gets even better and I notice more and more details and clues that give me even more insight into Mary’s world. This is not a one-time watch movie. Deadly Illusions will be enjoyed by viewers for many, many years.

  5. Tim, I really enjoyed the movie. It left me guessing which parts of the story were real and which were part of the book she was writing. There were several plot twists that I did not see coming. Plus, it was released during the pandemic!!!

  6. What a great movie. I was on the edge of my seat in anticipation of which direction the story line would go. I’ve recommended it to friends and family and then anxiously wait to hear their opinions. I sure hope there’s a sequel.

  7. My favorite books and movies are that of suspense and this movie topped the list! It’s definitely a movie you finish and feel the need to immediately rewatch to try to piece together reality vs her subconscious! I would recommend to many and the ending makes me want a sequel!!

  8. Great movie!!! I usually fall asleep during movies, but there was no way I could with this one. It certainly got my attention to the very end! So happy for you! Congrats
